A 30-year-old woman was shot in Benton Harbor.

It happened around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 24,  in the 1000 block of Hurd Avenue.

At the scene, police discovered several significant pieces of evidence to include a stolen firearm.

The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

There was no word on what led to the shooting or any suspects.
