Three people shot near Edison Road and Hickory Road in Mishawaka

Three people were wounded in a shooting in the area of Edison and Hickory Roads in Mishawaka.

The shots were fired just before 10 p.m. Saturday night, in the parking lot of the Family Express gas station.

One of the victims was a 42 year-old woman who was sitting in a car at the Family Express convenience store.

A 61 year-old man in his bed at a nearby home was also hit by stray gunfire while laying in his bed, according to police.

A third individual, a 25 year-old male, arrived at a hospital with a wound to the stomach saying he had been shot at the gas station.

A bullet also hit a second vehicle at the gas station.

All three victims are said to be in stable but critical condition, and no names are being released.

There is no word of any suspects, arrests or information about what led to the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Mishawaka Police Detective Bureau at 574-258-1684, or Crime stoppers at 574-288-STOP.

Gang banger shooting accuracy…woman in car, guy if bed, possibly unrelated dude…no idea what they were shooting at.

But hey, let’s take guns away from citizens who own and use them legally. Idiots.
