Police around Michigan made more than 120 traffic stops and issued 50 citations for illegal passing of school buses during an now annual school bus safety enforcement campaign.

The stops also resulted in nearly 30 other citations and three misdemeanor arrests.

Operation Safe Stop is an enforcement campaign that was conducted statewide, for the second year, back in late October.
