Martin’s Super Markets and Miller Poultry have donated nearly 11,000 pounds of chicken to the Food Bank of Northern Indiana.

The donation of chicken drumsticks and chicken sausage is a joint effort between the supermarket chain and the Goshen-based poultry business.

Chris Haygood, the Director of Meat and Seafood at Martin’s, says they are proud of their long association with Miller Poultry and the Food Bank of Northern Indiana. He says the need in our communities has “never been greater” and the donation will go a long way toward providing vital nourishment to families through the holiday season and beyond.
