A man was arrested after allegedly threatening to cut his ex-girlfriend’s children.

It was last Wednesday when South Bend Police were called to a home in the 1200 block of Lincolnway and found a man, bleeding, with an injury to his head.

Police spoke with two juveniles and an adult in the home who accused their mother’s ex-boyfriend, Larry Kubsch Jr, of trying to attack them with box cutters after a fight erupted over a cell phone.

Court documents state that Kubsch charged toward one of the juveniles. The juvenile struck him with a baseball bat, then called 911.

ABC 57 News reports Kubsch was charged with three counts of intimidation and one count of battery by means of a deadly weapon.
