A student in Warsaw has been arrested for making threats on Snapchat against Edgewood Middle School and the Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation.

Investigators spent the weekend tracking down where the threat came from and was able to located the student and detain them Monday morning.

As a precaution, there was still additional police presence at Edgewood Middle School and other Warsaw Community Schools on Monday.

Several schools across Indiana, and the country, reported threats on Friday, as a challenge on TikTok called for teenagers to make threats toward their schools on Dec. 17.

Happening way to much!! How about holding parents accountable too? If you dont know what your kid is doing, shame on you! Poor parenting has caused the young generation to fail!

Agree 100%. Also anyone affiliated with the social media platt that allows hate and violence should be charged and sent to jail as well.

These are not pranks and anyone who thinks they are funny are sick. Make these platforms be held accountable. Make parents be held accountable.
