If you’re feeling lucky, Mondya, Jan. 3, might be the day to buy a Powerball ticket.

With no big winner in several months, the Powerball jackpot has grown to more than half-a-billion dollars.

The jackpot for Monday night’s drawing is an estimated $522 million. The cash option is $371.5 million.

If you’re a Hoosier, the odds might just be in your favor! Indiana had the very first Powerball jackpot winner back in 1992 and leads the nation in Powerball jackpot wins with 39.

The odds of matching all five numbers and the Powerball are 1 in 292 million.

Everyone take note, it’s time to pay your voluntary taxes because you just know you’re a winner.
