Sen. Young introduces telehealth extension legislation

Senator Todd Young has introduced bipartisan legislation aimed at extending telehealth services for seniors.

Earlier this week, the GOP Senator from Indiana and Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada put forward the bill. The legislation would extend Medicare enrollees’ access to telehealth services no matter where they live.

Telehealth has become especially important for senior citizens since the beginning of the COVID pandemic. Young says the Senate should act now to ensure that seniors continue to benefit from these important remote health care services.

Young has been a champion of telehealth options throughout the pandemic and has sponsored a number of bills in support of it.
