Standoff ends peacefully at Mishawaka apartment complex

It was a peaceful end to a standoff at a Mishawaka apartment complex.

Police were called to Lakeside Apartments at 12th and Capital around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 9, when a man barricaded himself inside one of the dwellings as officers tried to serve an arrest warrant.

SWAT officers were called to the scene.

The man surrendered about two hours later.

There were no injuries reported.
