A wheelchair-using man reported missing from Knox on Thursday was found dead Friday morning.

The Starke County Sheriff’s Office says officers were called shortly after 8 a.m. to the 700 block of East Danker Street. They found a dead person who was later identified as 66 year-old Victor Greene. He’d been missing since noon Thursday when a Silver Alert was issued.

No foul play is suspected at this time and the incident remains under investigation.
