Pellet gun found on student at LaVille Junior-Senior High School

School leaders at LaVille Junior-Senior High School confiscated a pellet gun from a student.

Parents were notified on Monday about the incident.

The Indiana State Police is said to be handling the situation.

No students or staff members were harmed.

Oh noes, not a pellet gun! You’ll shoot your eye out, Ralphie…

A kid brought a toy to school and everyone comes unglued. 60 years ago, firearms safety was taught in school and there were no shootings. I’m not sure this “zero tolerance” stuff is working very well.
