Ivy Tech South Bend/Elkhart will host a summit, next Thursday, featuring career openings with local public service organizations as well as highlighting programs at Ivy Tech that can prepare students for those careers.

The criminal justice and paramedic science programs at Ivy Tech are relaunching with new micro-certifications and certificates for existing public safety workers along with ushering a new era of technology using the Axon Virtual Reality training system.

Additionally, many local departments and organizations will be in attendance with information on hiring and recruiting.

Anybody interested in training for such a career is invited to attend.
