A fire Friday morning at Christ The King school closed down classes for the day.

Firefighters responded to the scene and discovered a fire in a light fixture in one room of the building. That fire was put out and the damage was contained to just that room.

No injuries were reported and the school is expected to reopen for classes Monday.
