Man, 23, arrested in connection with critical injury shooting, robbery in South Bend

An arrest has been made in connection to an apparent robbery and shooting in South Bend.

Michael Sells, 23, is charged with robbery resulting in serious bodily injury, armed robbery, possession of methamphetamine, and carrying a handgun without a license.

The shooting happened on Thursday, April 14, in the area of Elwood Avenue and Adams Street and left a 19-year-old in critical condition.

Sells was arrested at a home in South Bend on Friday, according to 95.3 MNC’s reporting partners at ABC 57.
