Michigan’s Attorney General is speaking out about the jury that acquitted two of the four accused plotters in the Governor Whitmer kidnapping case.
AG Dana Nessel said on Wednesday that the jurors “got it wrong”. She made the comments ahead of this weekend’s state GOP convention in Grand Rapids.
Nessel, who is up for reelection in November, said her office will “aggressively prosecute” the cases. Earlier this month, two of the four men were found not guilty, and the jury came to a mistrial in the case against two others.
The four were charged with a conspiracy to kidnap Governor Whitmer from her vacation home in northern Michigan in October of 2020, as well as related weapons charges.

Is Dana Nessel going to try and prosecute the jurors for conspiracy? Talk about sour grapes…
I don’t think the jury got it wrong. The AG said “ the feds don’t prosecute unless it has a very strong effective case” don’t blame jury, this whole plot seems strange! It was overly broadcasted. People were tired of hearing about.
Dana is right…who needs a trial by jury. That’s for “olden times”!
This is the same Dana Nessel that wanted to bring criminal charges to Citizens for talking about the massive election fraud in MI. She is crooked to the core, and needs to be voted out from office… If they let your vote count this time.
Crooked bullies gonna bully. Nessel is crooked and a bully.
