The DNR Division of Fish and Wildfire is preparing for trout fishing season in Indiana.

Around 22,000 trout are being stocked for the inland season, which started on April 30.

The trout will be stocked in 16 different streams across the state. The list can be found here.

The bag limit is five fish a day and at least 7 inches long.

In order to fish for trout, you need an Indiana fishing license and a trout or salmon stamp, which can be bought here.
