Kimarie Wright charged with murder, voluntary manslaughter for woman’s shooting death

The woman accused of shooting to death the mother of a 5-year-old boy who recently died in an accidental shooting by a relative faces murder and voluntary manslaughter charges.

Kaylynn Davidson, 32, died after being shot at The Linden Grille, on Michigan Street in South Bend, late Tuesday night, May 17.

If convicted on both charges, Kimarie Wright could face up to 95 years in prison.

Wright is being held with no bond at the St. Joseph County Jail.
