Michigan’s governor announces tuition giveaway

Michigan’s governor is celebrating the 35th anniversary of the state’s Education Trust with a big tuition giveaway.

Governor Whitmer says 100 children in the state will benefit from $15,000 in paid tuition, to the tune of $1.5 million. A random statewide drawing will be held later this year.

Residents 18 and older can enter on behalf of children 5 and under. People can only enter once but multiple people can enter on the behalf of the same child. The deadline is August 31st and you can learn more at http://METGiveaway.com.

Giveaway entries began being accepted on Thursday and will end on Aug. 31, 2022.

Winners will be announced in a series of drawings beginning Sept. 12. Michiganders can enter the giveaway and review rules and eligibility criteria at www.METgiveaway.com.
