The IRS has announced its “Dirty Dozen” list for 2022.

The list includes potential scams that taxpayers should try to avoid.

So far, they have four listed: Transactions involving charitable remainder annuity trusts, Maltese individual retirement arrangements, foreign captive insurance, and monetized installment sales.

The IRS says that they will be releasing the other eight in the weeks to come.

They also say to watch out for online scams that sound too good to be true.

You can go here for the IRS’s description of the first four points on the “Dirty Dozen” list.
