A former teacher at Jimtown High School has accepted a guilty plea for misdemeanor battery.

Mike Hosinski accepted the agreement after striking a student in the school hallway in February. It calls for a one year suspended jail sentence with a year of probation and the completion of an anger management evaluation. He will also be required to complete any related follow-up, pay any restitution that arises in the case, and has been ordered to have no contact with the victim.

Hosinski was seen on video striking the student.

That punk kid should have been removed a long time ago. I don’t condone the action of anyone striking anyone unprovoked, but that kid was trouble and the administration KNEW it and did nothing.

Heads need to roll.
