If you love Sriracha hot sauce, we hope you have enough at home to last through the summer.

Weather conditions have caused a major Sriracha shortage that is expected to last until fall.

Huy Fong of Southern California, the company that makes the sauce, says a lack of chili peppers is to blame. The spring harvest turned into a crop failure thanks to weather conditions that created a severe shortage of the right peppers.

Supplies that are currently in stores will not be replenished until September 6, according to a company email, and any orders placed after April 19 won’t be able to be filled until that date.
