A Goshen man was arrested for allegedly battering his mother.

Police were called around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, to the 1100 block of South 12th Street where the 71-year-old woman accused her son, Casey Wilson, 36, of attcking her.

Wilson was arrested at the home on preliminary charges of domestic battery, interference with reporting a crime, and possession of marijuana.

Casey was medically cleared at Goshen hospital and then taken to Elkhart County Jail.

The man’s mother had no visible injuries and refused medical attention.
