Police investigating possible human trafficking, prostitution at four St. Joseph County massage businesses

On Monday, June 20, the St. Joseph County Police Department in coordination with the Indiana State Police, the Battle Ground Police Department and the Indiana Department of Revenue executed search warrants and made entry at four massage business locations and one residence, all located within St. Joseph County Indiana.

Police investigators suspect human trafficking and prostitution has been occurring at these four massage businesses.

This evening investigators continue to interview potential witnesses, suspected victims & possible criminal suspects and collect business & financial documents. No arrests have been made at this time. The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department has also aided the St. Joseph County Police during this investigation.

St. Joseph County Police anticipate releasing further information on this investigation as more specific details become available over the next 24-72 hours and as any arrests are made.
