New allegations of child molestation have been filed against a Texas man in Elkhart County, two years after his arrest on similar charges.

A sixth victim has now come forward, accusing Julio Rios, 57, of touching her inappropriately.

The Elkhart Truth reports the alleged victim says Rios would meet the girl and her family when they arrived at church then take her upstairs where they were alone, touch her and give her snacks and tell her not to say anything.

Rios has been jailed since the Spring of 2020 on more than a dozen counts involving five other young victims.

The new charges were filed Monday, which is the same day he was set to stand trial for the original counts against him.

A new trial date will be set.
