Goshen man scheduled for hearing after trying to meet up with 13-year-old girl

A Goshen man is scheduled for an initial hearing on June 30 after investigators say he was caught of the group “Bikers Against Predators” for trying to meet up with a 13-year-old girl for sex.

Tylar Stanfill, 21, faces a charge of child solicitation after allegedly chatting on the social media site, Grindr, with who he thought was a teen girl, but is all part of a sting.

The Elkhart Truth reports a man with the the vigilante group, armed with a video camera, confronted Stanfill outside his home.

Police were called.

Stanfill allegedly admitted the wrongdoing and was booked in the Elkhart County Jail.

You can see the video of that confrontation and several other local stings, some which have resulted in arrests on the Bikers Against Predators Facebook page.
