Two people hurt after motorcycle crash into deer

Two people from Elkhart were hurt when the motorcycle they were on crashed into a deer.

The collision happened around 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 29, on Conrad Road south of Tiara Trail.

Emergency Personnel arrived on scene to find the motorcycle driver, a 35-year-old man Elkhart, and his passenger, a 37-year-old Elkhart woman, who were injured.

The two were taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.

Neither person was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.

Factors into the crash remain under investigation.
