A South Bend softball team is heading to Florida and are looking for donations.

The East Side 8U All-Star softball team is playing at the Babe Ruth World Series.

The team has only been together for a month, but they’ve gone undefeated in Indiana state and Ohio Valley regional tournaments.

They’re playin in Florida from July 28 through August 6.

They say that they’re looking for donations to help fund the team of 11 girls.
