“As a mother, there is no greater pain than losing one of your children. As our family continues to grieve the sudden loss of my beloved daughter, Jackie, I extend my deepest empathy to mothers everywhere who have walked a mile in these shoes.

Like Dean, I know that Jackie would have been keen on weighing in on her successor in Congress, to represent 2nd District Hoosiers in a seat that she served faithfully for over nine years. It’s important to our family that her seat is filled by an individual who can continue to serve Hoosier families and fight against the Washington establishment that continues to threaten our economy, faith, families and communities.
