Granger man arrested on charges of possession of meth and resisting arrest

A Granger man was arrested for possession of meth and resisting arrest.

It happened on Saturday, September 24, in the morning, when police found a vehicle they thought was involved with a local theft.

Officials say that they waited for the owner of the vehicle, 40-year-old Andrew Blasko, for an hour.

ABC 57 News reports that Blasko got into the vehicle and drove off, not stopping for police when they tried to perform a traffic stop.

When he crossed into Elkhart County, the trailers back tires collapsed.

He then drove to a dead end street and through yards, finally hitting a police vehicle.

He faces a charges of  possession of a syringe, resisting law enforcement w/vehicle, possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotic or cocaine, possession of stolen vehicle, reckless driving, leaving scene of crash and resisting law enforcement.

In his mugshot he has a burn hole in his shirt. He doesn’t look happy in the photo either.
