Processed meat recall due to listeria concerns

(USDA)

The USDA has announced a recall of certain meat products that might be contaminated with bacteria.

More than 87,000 pounds of several ready-to-eat products from Behrmann Meat and Processing are included in the recall after positive tests for listeria, according to the Department of Agriculture.

Consuming the products could result in a serious infection. They were produced between July 7th and September 9th of this year and sold in Illinois, Kentucky and Missouri. No illnesses have been reported so far.
