A dead body was found in a field off of M-62 in Cass County.

Sheriff’s deputies were called around 1:15 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 5, near the intersection of Beeson Street and M-62 in LaGrange Township where they made the discovery.

The body has not been positively identified at this time. The case remains under investigation.
