The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day holiday is Monday and, just ahead of the celebration, Wallethub conducted a study called “2023’s States with the Most Racial Progress.”
They ranked Indiana 26th out of the 50 states.
Wallethub ranked Indiana 39th in the category “employment and wealth” and 25th in “health”, which contributed to the 26th ranking.
Wallethub said the state with the most racial integration is Hawaii and the state with the least amount of racial integration is Vermont.
Michigan ranked near the bottom of the list at 45th.

Is affirmative action “racial progress”? I would say that progress is when it is no longer needed.
Are government medical handouts “racial progress”? I would say that progress is when people can get their own insurance.

Wallethub us a lefty site, and their metrics only reflect those values. A person who has a job solely because it was mandated by the government, or a person with health insurance for free that is paid for with tax dollars is a GOOD thing in their rankings. To normal human beings, those situations count as failures compared to true progress.
