Two people arrested after child custody dispute leads to shots fired at St. Joseph home

Two people have been arrested after bullets struck a home in St. Joseph, Michigan, in what police say stemmed from a child custody dispute.

Officers with the St. Joseph Public Safety Department were called on Saturday, Jan. 21, the 1000 block of Church Street.

The two people inside the home were not hurt, but the home, itself, was struck several times.

Shortly afterward, police took two people of interest into custody.

Carlton Antoni Kelly, 38, and Chantal Baker, 31, are due to be arraigned on Monday at Berrien County District Court.
