BBB: Imposter website scams

Some tips for imposter website scams.

The Better Business Bureau says that scammers can easily use official photos from the website of a popular brand and then build a website that looks very similar to the real thing, but with better deals.

The BBB says that to stay safe from these scam site, users should research the seller, be wary of extremely discounted products, and to compare similar products with other companies.

If you do encounter a scam, they say to report it to the BBB’s website, BBB.org/ScamTracker.
