After a full weekend of work in better weather conditions, crews have safely restored power to nearly of all customers affected by Friday’s severe weather.

Fewer than 125 customers remained without power, as of early Saturday evening, and I & M crews stated they’d keep working until everyone’s lights were back on.

High winds, rain, sleet, and heavy, wet snow led to significant damage from Southwest Michigan through East-Central Indiana.

Damage assessors and line crews discovered 295 spans of downed wires and 38 broken or damaged poles.
