Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed a bill to repeal an abortion ban.

The bill has been on Michigan books since 1931, saying that abortions are banned without exception for rape or incest.

Doctors and nurses who offered those services would also be prosecuted. WNDU reports that the signing came after those in Michigan voted to put reproductive freedom into the state constitution after the overturning of Roe VS Wade.
