Michigan City woman arrested in connection with shooting of another woman

A 24-year-old woman in Michigan City was arrested in connection with the shooting of another woman.
Officers were called around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 16, to the 700 block of Madison Street on the report of gunfire.
That’s where they found the 28-year-old victim suffering froma  gunshot wound to her arm. The woman was taken to the hospital.
The suspect, Caitlyn Bradley-Gattis was still inside the home.
The SWAT unit was activated. Eventually, Bradley-Gattis surrendured. Police found a gun and ammo inside the home.
Bradley-Gattis has been charged with Aggravated Battery, Battery by Means of a Deadly Weapon and Battery Resulting in Bodily Injury. Bond was set at $25,000 cash.
