Police in Mishawaka are investigating after a viral video showed a young person using a bike to attack a goose.

The video, on social media, shows a juvenile along the Mishawaka Riverwalk throwing a bicycle at a Canada Goose. The Mishawaka Police have confirmed that the incident happened along the Riverwalk, and that they are working with DNR and the Juvenile Justice Center as they review the video clip.

Canada Geese are a federally protected wildlife species. It’s not known if the goose survived the attack, and there’s been no update on the possible identity of the young person who attacked it.
