Hoosiers encouraged to help add to Indiana’s forests

(Kim Closson)

Hoosiers who love the outdoors have an opportunity to help add to it.

The Indiana Natural Resources Foundation and the Division of Forestry want to make sure you can definitely see the trees for the forest.

Last year more than 11,000 trees were planted in the state’s public lands through Indiana Tree Project plantings. Hoosiers can support the project as it attempts to add another thousand acres of new forested land in Indiana.

You can learn how to join the effort by clicking here.
