A necessary financial step has been approved as AM General gets set for production of new U.S. Military light hybrid vehicles.

That step was the approval of property tax abatements for expansion to accommodate the vehicles’ production.

AM General needs to add more than 74,000 square feet to its building. More than 300 jobs will be added once production begins.
