Two drivers injured after colliding head-on on County Road 17

Two people were hospitalized after a head-on crash on County Road 17.

The collision happened just after 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, south of Hanover Drive when a 26-year-old Bristol man was headed northbound and drove left-of-center to avoid rear-ending another vehicle which was stopped in his lane. Unfortunately, he struck a southbound vehicle driven by a 66-year-old Elkhart woman.

Both drivers suffered neck and back pain.
