You could end up in jail and have to pay a big fine if you don’t abide by Indiana’s new “stay back” law.
The new law requires people to stay at least 25 feet away from police officers who are doing any duty.
Indiana is among the first states in the country to give officers a buffer zone.
Violating the law is punishable by up to 60 days in jail and up to $500 in fines.

Allrighty then, If I see an officer in distress with a criminal I’ll stay away and let him suffer the consequences. I recommend all legally armed Hoosiers stay away from the cops when they obviously need your help.
