Boy, 15, in serious condition after being shot on Brockton Court in Mishawaka

A 15-year-old boy is hospitalized in serious condition after being shot in Mishawaka.

Police were called around 9:20 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, to the 3000 block of Brockton Court on the report of a gunshot victim laying on the ground outside the apartments.

On arrival, officers found the juvenile suffering from a gunshot wound.

The Mishawaka Police Major Crimes Unit is leading the investigation.

Anybody with information about the shooting or who may have seen something suspicious at the time and location is asked to contact the Mishawaka Police Detective Bureau at 574-258-1684 or Michiana Crime Stoppers at 574-288-STOP.
