South Bend Cubs welcomes 3 millionth fan

(Tommie Lee/95.3 MNC)
The South Bend Cubs have set another attendance milestone.
The hometown team welcomed their three-millionth fan under Andrew Berlin’s ownership. That’s something he calls a tremendous achievement, not just for the organization, but for the entire community.
Prior to Berlin’s purchase of the club, the South Bend Silver Hawks saw their lowest season attendance ever in 2011 with 112,795 fans. Fast forward to now:  The team has drawn over 70,000 fans in the first 18 games of the season and is on pace for another big year.
