Benton Harbor man faces charges related to child sexually abusive material

A man from Benton Harbor, identified as Jamie Lee Flewellen, is confronting charges related to the aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material and the utilization of a computer to perpetrate a crime.
Following an investigation, the Michigan State Police apprehended Flewellen, 44, at his home in Benton Harbor. The investigation led to the discovery and confiscation of digital evidence associated with the uploading of child sexual exploitation material.
Flewellen was arraigned on Monday, May 22.
If found guilty, Flewellen could potentially face a maximum prison sentence of 10 years for aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, as well as an additional 10 years for the utilization of a computer in the commission of a crime.
