Grand Rapids man reported missing found dead in Pokagon Township

A man reported missing in Grand Rapids has been found dead.

The Cass County Sheriff’s Office found an unoccupied vehicle in the Dowagiac area, this past weekend.

The vehicle belonged to Johnny Hollis Bolden, 76.

His body was found around 8 p.m. on Monday, June 5. about one mile from where his car was found in Pokagon Township.

Authorities say Bolden suffered from dementia and had other health problems. Bolden had been listed as missing and endangered since May 30th.

Deputies with the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, along with around 60 volunteers conducted the search.
