Elkhart man sentenced after pleading guilty to child pornography charge

An Elkhart man who pleaded guilty to receiving child pornography has been sentenced.

Jeremy Eash, 39, was ordered to spend 94 months in prison, 5 years of supervised release and ordered to pay more than $72,000 in restitution.

According to court documents, during a 4-month period between 2021 and 2022, Eash received more than 12-hundred images and 400 videos over the internet.

Police recovered the images from his electronic devices.

The case was investigated by the United States Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Investigations with the assistance of the Indiana State Police, the Elkhart Police and the LaGrange Police Departments.
