Police are calling it a road rage incident in northwest Indiana.

State Police say a man was arrested for throwing an egg and pointing a gun at someone on I-65 near the Lowell exit on Friday night.

They’ve identified him as 65-year-old Paul Mihalich of Demotte.

Police say Mihalich pointed the gun at another man and threw the egg at the person’s car while there were two children under the age of 5 in the car.

They say they were able to track Mihalich down and arrest him. He was taken to the Lake County Jail.

No one inside the victim’s car was hurt.
