Former Dowagiac man sentenced for not returning test-driven car

A former Dowagiac man was sentenced to one year in jail for not returning a car he test-drove last summer.
Kyle Christopher Stahl, 39, who now lives in Osceola, pleaded guilty to attempted receiving stolen property, specifically a motor vehicle.
He was sentenced to 365 days in jail with credit for 166 days served, and fined more than $1500.
Stahl was stopped by the police in Edwardsburg, last July, where they found tools, a scale, and meth residue in the car. According to Leader Publications, he also faces additional charges in Berrien County and St. Joseph and Marshall Counties in Indiana for breaking and entering, possession of meth, and theft.
