A new Mobile Medical Unit is coming to the Michiana area.

Saint Joseph Health System now has a second mobile unit.

It’s a clinic on wheels that travels throughout the community to provide healthcare to residents.

It’s targeted for low income and underserved neighborhoods.

WSBT reports that the medical unit has to exam rooms, just like a doctors office.

The first Mobile Medical Unit came out in 2006. The new unit is expected to start in the fall.
